Increasingly people around the world are facing extremes of temperatures that their rented apartment space was not designed for.
Whether heat wave or cold snap, here are one-page infographic guides to some low-impact, mostly renter-safe, tactics you can use to make living through these increasingly extreme weather events more possible.
These guides skew towards cheap or free options, ideally that use little energy.
While these are labeled solarpunk, the ultimate solarpunk solution is to overhaul society such that we can urgently reverse climate change, and can materially support each other to live healthy, happy, lives.
Until then, take care of each other and yourselves, and I hope these guides help reduce the discomfort and risk you may be experiencing.

Heat Wave.pdf is a one-page of tactics for trying to stay cool when the temperature outside is high above what is suited to humans.

Dealing with the heatwave hitting LA rn. Appreciating this a lot, especially for the future--currently blessed w AC, but not guaranteed in the future (moving).
I'm in a very similar situation (heatwave, LA, AC) but I grew up very poor in a cold climate, so I've picked up tips for both ends.
